Prince George's County deputies reportedly found the wanted Hyattsville man at a friend's house, and arrested him on assault charges.

A Hyattsville man was arrested for allegedly beating someone with an aluminum baseball bat during an argument.

The Prince George’s County Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/ Fugitive Division arrested Duane Lucas on a warrant for first-degree assault.

According to the warrant, Lucas argued with someone at a residence in the 3200 block of Powder Mill Road in Hyattsville on Jan. 3. Authorities say Lucas grabbed an aluminum baseball bat and struck the victim in the back of the head as he tried to walk away. The warrant also says Lucas broke all of the windows in the victim’s vehicle with the bat before he fled.
