Police Identify Victim Whose Body, Body Parts Found in 2 Bags
Prince George's County Police returned to the Laurel complex Monday to talk with residents. The public is asked to call with tips.

Police returned to an apartment complex Monday to talk to residents as they continue the search for a suspect in the gruesome murder of a Laurel man whose body and body parts were found in two bags.
The Prince George’s County Police Department blog says officers were called to the 8800 block of Enfield Court about 9:20 a.m. Sunday for a report of a body found in a bag. Once on scene, officers discovered a second bag with body parts inside.
The victim has been identified as Jacinto Perez, 28, of Finsbury Court in Laurel. Detectives planned to pass out Crime Solvers flyers seeking information on the case and talk with members of the community members as they seek information in the murder case.

Authorities have not released details about how Perez was killed.
On Sunday afternoon, detectives, along with a cadaver dog, searched the apartment complex for additional evidence. In addition, the department’s academy class conducted a late afternoon grid search of the scene.

Detectives are working to determine a motive and a suspect in the case.
