Prince George's Officers Charged With Misconduct
Two former officers and one current officer have been charged with misconduct in office, along with other charges, officials say.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Two former Prince George's County police officers and one current Prince George's police officer have been charged with misconduct in office and related offenses.
Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Tara Jackson announced the charges.
Former Prince George’s County Police Officer Gerald Briscoe has been charged with four counts of misconduct in office and one count of conspiracy to commit misconduct in office.

Former Prince George’s County Police Officer Sierra Alston has been charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit misconduct in office and one count of solicitation of misconduct in office.
Current Prince George’s County Police Officer Timothy Green has been charged with two counts of misconduct in office and one count of conspiracy to commit misconduct in office.

Court documents show that the three were accused of conducting motor vehicle registration inquiries without a legitimate law enforcement purpose. No additional details were provided by the county state's attorney's office.
Alston was arrested in 2024 before leaving the department. Washington Metro Airport police apprehended Alston for allegedly being involved with the theft of three BMWs from the SIXT rental car company at Reagan National Airport.
Investigators said her police jacket and documents were found in one car, her phone's Bluetooth was connected to a second car and she was seen with the third car in D.C. police body cam footage. However, the charges against Alston were dropped in March 2025 after she had been suspended in October 2024.
Alston and Briscoe joined the PGPD in 2023. Briscoe was suspended in March 2025. Green joined the agency in 2015 and was suspended in June 2025. Alston left the agency in December 2025. Briscoe left in February 2026.
