Is That Prince George's School Bus In Germany?
A Prince George's County School bus may have been spotted in Germany. Here is how the popular picture surfaced.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A popular tweet seems to show a Prince George's County Public Schools bus in Europe. Twitter user @gmdubbs shared the picture Saturday saying her friend spotted the bus in Germany. The post had about 43,300 likes and 5,200 retweets by 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

Fellow tweeter @NeoTheThird pointed out that the photo looks like Münster, a city of about 292,000 in northwestern Germany. They pointed out that the cathedral in the background appears to be the Lambertikirche, also known as St. Lambert’s Church. The area is displayed here on Google Maps.
Another Twitter user, @SaraMcArcher, said she also saw a PGCPS bus overseas. The Laurel native now lives in Münster. She stated that she found the bus outside the town's weekly market.

PGCPS joked about the picture that surfaced during America's bus driver shortage. The school system invited locals to attend one of these driver recruitment events.
Drive with us! Although there is mystery surrounding how one of our former buses ended up in 🇩🇪 it is NO mystery that we need to hire bus drivers to serve our students and community. ✴️ Learn more + join us for a hiring event. https://t.co/1sxFhu0y2Ghttps://t.co/6aYqIbjm4Q
