Rain Barrel Workshop This Wednesday
If you've considered getting a rain barrel but just were not sure what they are all about, this workshop is for you!
On Wednesday, April 19th, the Bowie Lions and the City will co-host a free rain barrel workshop at City Hall (15901 Excalibur Rd) at 7pm to discuss the many benefits and installation and maintenance of rain barrels. Attendees will also be able to purchase a rain barrel from the Lions Club to take home. The Lions make rain barrels from 55-gallon food-grade drums and sell them to support the many local programs that benefit Bowie residents.
