Ricky Martin to Perform at MGM National Harbor

The Grammy Award-winning artist is famous for his '90s hit, "Livin' La Vida Loca."

NATIONAL HARBOR, MD — Get ready to relive the '90s: Ricky Martin is coming to MGM National Harbor in May, the latest blockbuster act the new casino has booked before its official opening Dec. 8.

Martin will perform twice at the Theater at MGM National Harbor, with concert dates on May 5 and 6. Martin has been on a vigorous world tour, performing in all inhabited continents in the last three years.

"This is an exciting time for MGM Resorts as we add multiple GRAMMY Award-winner and international superstar Ricky Martin to our tremendous lineup for The Theater at MGM National Harbor," Bill Hornbuckle, president of MGM Resorts, said in a statement. "Ricky is one of the most talented, high-energy performers in the world and we look forward to establishing a long-term relationship with him as he brings his new shows to our venues."

Tickets will run from $59.50 to $175, and will go on sale Monday, Nov. 21 at 1 p.m. You can purchase them at ticketmaster.com/rickymartin. Ricky Martin fan club members will get access to a pre-sale on Nov. 17 at 1 p.m.

Martin's breakout mainstream hit was "Livin' la Vida Loca" in 1999, which topped charts around the world. The song sold more than 8 million copies, and is one of the best-selling singles of all time.

Martin is the latest star to be announced as a performer at the new casino. Bruno Mars, Lionel Richie, Sting and Cher are just a few of the other performers that will be at the new venue over the next few months.
