Winter Weather Advisory Calls For Sleet In Anne Arundel, Prince George's Counties
BREAKING: The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Anne Arundel and Prince George's counties.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Anne Arundel and Prince George's counties, which calls for snow and sleet. The advisory is in effect from 7 p.m. Monday evening to 2 p.m. Tuesday. The winter storm watch issued over the weekend is no longer in effect for those two counties, but remains in place for much of Maryland, while a winter storm warning has been issued for several Maryland jurisdictions, including Montgomery County, which could receive half a foot of snow.
The winter weather advisory forecasts snow and sleet accumulation of 2 to 4 inches will fall in the Annapolis and Bowie areas Monday night through Tuesday morning. Sleet may mix in with the snow.
The weather service says the heavy snow will create difficult travel conditions and may produce scattered power outages. Look for strong north winds between 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 30s.

Snow is expected to start Monday night and fall through Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service. Predictions of the looming winter snowstorm that could dump 4 to 8 inches of snow inside the Beltway have Metro officials announcing paratransit service will be suspended at 4 p.m. Monday and all day Tuesday as the nor-easter brings one last winter blast to the region.
The Capital Weather Gang says snowfall amounts will likely range from 8 inches or more just north of Washington, D.C., to as little as 2 inches southeast of the city. Inside the Beltway, expect 4 to 8 inches.
