Redskins Waiting List Has Disappeared: Report
The famous 200,000-name wait list is no more, a team official reportedly confirmed.

WASHINGTON, DC -- For many, many years, the Washington Redskins touted a waiting list for season tickets that was 200,000 names deep -- a claim that more and more people became skeptical of in recent years as dissatisfaction with the team has grown. Now, a team official has reportedly confirmed that the wait list doesn't exist.
The Associated Press reports that Redskins Chief Operation Officer Brian Lafemina said on Wednesday that the team is "taking a fresh look at every area of the business," and that season tickets were now available for purchase for anyone who wants them.
The claim of a wait list had become a running gag in the D.C. area in recent years. The team ranked 28th out of 32 teams in home attendance in terms of stadium capacity last season, with just 88 percent of seats filled.
