Santa to Arrive at Bowie Tree-Lighting Ceremony Dec. 6

Bowie city leaders ask that residents who attend Sunday's free event bring non-perishable donations for the Bowie Food Pantry.

The City of Bowie invites everyone to attend the annual tree lighting ceremony to be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, at the Belair Mansion, 12207 Tulip Grove Drive in Bowie.

Bundle up for caroling outdoors, followed by Santa’s arrival atop the Bowie Volunteer Fire Department’s ladder truck.

While you are inside the mansion waiting to see Santa, enjoy the 18th century music of Bedlam.

This year the city asks everyone who attends to bring a non-perishable food product for the Bowie Food Pantry.

Come early and enjoy Historic Belair Mansion’s Twilight Holiday tours beginning at noon and the music of Bedlam starting at 3 p.m.
