SANTA CLAUS TO MAKE A SPECIAL APPEARANCE DURING BOWIE TOWN CENTER'S 'GREAT TREE LIGHTING' ON THURSDAY
Santa's arrival during a special tree lighting ceremony
WHAT: Bowie Town Center will usher in the sights and sounds of the holiday season with “The Great Tree Lighting” this Thursday. This annual tradition at Prince George’s County’s top open-air shopping, dining and entertainment destination, will feature the Honorable Frederick G. Robinson, Mayor of Bowie, Maryland, a performance by the Bowie High School Marching Band and the debut appearance from the big man in red. Local families will join in the celebration by participating in holiday-inspired crafts while waiting for Santa and his elves to light the tree, commencing the holiday season.
