PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A group of 13 seniors from Prince George's County Public Schools won full scholarships. The awards come from The Posse Foundation, a nationwide organization that sends students with excellent leadership potential to one of its affiliated colleges.
The winners, known as Posse Scholars, will form multicultural groups of 10, called “posses.” More than 50 PGCPS students have earned the award since 2013. Each scholarship is worth about $140,000.
