Barkley is a 16-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and he is the very best boy, according to his mom Tanya. He celebrated his 16th birthday on Black Friday and wore an appropriately fabulous King outfit I made him for the occasion. We have lived in Bowie for three years, prior to that we lived in England for four years. (Barkley is very well-traveled) When he is not sleeping or cuddled up with me, Barkley likes to chase airplanes. No, really. He spots them in the sky and will give chase across the lawn barking all the while. Now, to be fair- since advancing in age he does more sitting and barking rather than chasing. But giving chase to airplanes is something he has always done. (everything else is safe from him) Of note, he has yet to actually catch an airplane unless you count the flights he was actually on. -- Tanya
