Shooter Sentenced In Death Of Fort Washington Man
The suspect who eluded police for three years has been sentenced in the September 2021 death of 22-year-old Sejon Reed of Fort Washington.
FORT WASHINGTON, MD — Andre Moore has been sentenced after being convicted of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder in the death of 22-year-old Sejon Reed of Fort Washington in September 2021.
Moore was arrested in June 2024 after a three-year manhunt to find him.
On Sept. 17, 2021, at around 9:30 p.m., Prince George's officers were called to the 4700 block of St. Barnabas Road, Marlow Heights, for a report of a shooting. Officers found Reed outside with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead a short time later, according to Prince George's Police.

Moore originally was charged with first- and second-degree murder and related charges.
He has been sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder, according to the Prince George's Office of the State's Attorney.
