Shooting Reported at Suitland High School: Reports
Officials stressed that it was not an active shooter situation.

SUITLAND, MD — Authorities are reportedly responding to a shooting at Suitland High School in Prince George's County, according to multiple reports.
The West Lanham Hills Fire Department tweeted there was an "active shooter" at the location. However, fire chief Marc Bashoor clarified shortly thereafter that it was not an active shooter situation.

The Prince George's County Fire Department tweeted that one person was treated in the 5200 block of Silver Hill Road with an injury. WUSA9 reports a person was shot in the leg and suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Prince George's County Police tweeted that they are aware of the incident at the school.
Tom Roussey of ABC 7 tweeted that a student shot another student just off school property.
