Shots Fired At Officer Leads To Charges Against 19-Year-Olds: Prince George's Police

Two 19-year-olds have been charged in an incident where police say they shot at a Prince George's officer, according to a report.

BOWIE, MD — Two 19-year-olds have been charged in connection to an incident where they fired shots at a Prince George's County police officer who wasn't injured.

On April 10 around 11:05 a.m., 19-year-old Xavier Stewart of Clinton and 19-year-old Noreon Moody of Bowie fired guns at the police officer who was sitting in an unmarked police vehicle on Crain Highway just before Trade Zone Avenue. The officer had been in the area for an investigation.

Moody has been charged with attempted murder, firearms offenses and related charges. Stewart has been charged with the unauthorized use of a stolen vehicle; the vehicle they used in the shooting had been reported stolen.
