Sobriety Checkpoint In Prince George's County

Officers will be focused on the central portion of the county Friday.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD -- The Prince George's County Police Department will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint this weekend.

Members of the department's Special Operations Division will conduct the checkpoint starting on Friday, Aug. 10 at 9 p.m. and continuing until 3 a.m. the next morning, according to a PGPD statement.

"Officers will be focusing on the central portion of the county," the statement adds. "This is one of many checkpoints that will be conducted throughout the year."
