Speed a Factor in Fatal Single-Car Crash: Police
Prince George's County Police are investigating whether high speeds caused a late-night crash that killed a Crofton man.

Speed may have been a factor in a single-vehicle crash that killed a Crofton man overnight, says the Prince George’s County Police Department.
The victim killed has been identified as Andraes Lee Wagner, 31, of Sandwich Court in Crofton.

The accident happened about 2 p.m. Tuesday in the 4900 block of Floral Park Drive in Accokeek, police say. Officers at the scene said Wagner’s van had struck a tree; he was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators say the van was heading westbound on Floral Park Drive, when for reasons unknown, Wagner lost control, the vehicle left the roadway, and hit a tree.
