Sports Bar, Customers Robbed at Closing Time: Police

The Laurel bar was held up by three armed men wearing masks early Wednesday morning, Anne Arundel County Police say.

Three armed robbers held up a Laurel sports bar just before closing time early Wednesday morning, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

Police were called at 1:47 a.m. to the Bank Shot Bar and Grill, 3249 Laurel Fort Meade Road. Three male suspects, all wearing masks, entered the bar carrying handguns. They demanded money and property from the business and bar customers.

The suspects fled in a vehicle stolen from one of the patrons police say. A second vehicle parked nearby was also seen speeding away from the business. Both vehicles were last seen heading eastbound on Laurel Fort Meade Road.

The suspects are described as:

  • Black male, 5’9”, medium build, long dreads, wearing a white T-shirt and jeans
  • Black male, 5’8”, medium build, wearing a pink T-shirt and dark pants
  • Black male, 5’4”, medium build, wearing a white tank top and jeans
