Stepdad Charged With Murder In Stepson's Death: Police

A 68-year-old Upper Marlboro man faces first- and second-degree murder charges in the death of his 53-year-old stepson, police say.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 68-year-old Upper Marlboro man has been charged in connection to the murder of his stepson.

Jamie Porras has been charged with first- and second-degree murder in the death of 53-year-old Kelly McClary. According to Prince George's Police, on Oct. 7 shortly after 7 a.m., officers arrived at a home on Queen Anne Bridge Road for a report about a death. When they arrived, officers found McClary with blunt force trauma and stab wounds. McClary was pronounced dead on the scene.

Porras left the scene and was apprehended later at a different location, police said.
