Stolen 16-Year-Old Shih Tzu Named Zoi Reunited With Family: Police

The 16-year-old Shih Tzu named Zoi who was inside a vehicle when it was stolen Monday from a gas station has been reunited with her family.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Zoi the 16-year-old Shih Tzu who was inside a vehicle when it was stolen Monday from a gas station has been found and reunited with her family.

The Prince George's Police Department held a news conference today sharing the happy news. Zoi has been with her family since she was nine weeks old, WTOP reported.

“I was so waiting for this day,” Zoi’s owner said. “My daughter and I were literally going to drive around. When I got the call, I was heading to D.C. to look for her. I couldn’t sleep. I couldn’t eat. I couldn’t think … I couldn’t even believe this.”
