Subway Clark Handed Note Demanding Money: Police
A man tried to rob the Laurel Subway shop but ran away when the employee yelled for help, say Anne Arundel County Police.

A would-be robber handed a Laurel Subway employee a note demanding money Sunday night, but ran when the worker yelled for help.
Anne Arundel County Police were called to the Subway at 3481 Laurel Fort Meade Road in Laurel just before 7 p.m. Sunday.
The store clerk told police an unidentified male entered the store at about 6 p.m. The suspect reportedly handed a note to the clerk demanding money from the register. The clerk screamed for help and the suspect fled on foot.

The clerk was not injured. Police searched the area, but did not find the suspect.
He is described as a white man of average height and weight with a dark mustache, wearing a white buttoned shirt and blue jeans.
