Suspect Arrested After Assaulting Officers During Illegal Car Rally: Prince George's Police
Prince George's Police said a Woodland man had been arrested after allegedly assaulting officers who were trying to break up a car rally.
TEMPLE HILLS, MD — An 18-year-old from Woodland has been arrested after police say he assaulted officers during an illegal car rally.
Yohan Ramirez is in custody after Prince George's Police say he assaulted officers who were called to Temple Hills Aug. 8 to break up an illegal car rally and street takeover.
"Our message remains clear — participating in or attending an illegal car meet-up in Prince George’s County can lead to arrest, vehicle impoundment and fines. Car meet-ups are illegal and dangerous. Parents, urge your children not to attend; the consequences could be devastating," the police department stated.
