Suspect In Hyattsville Attack On Pregnant Woman Also Robbed Gucci Store: Police

The suspect police say attacked a pregnant woman in Hyattsville also has been linked to the robbery of a Gucci store in New York.

HYATTSVILLE, MD — The suspect arrested in February for the assault of a pregnant woman in Hyattsville now faces new charges after officials say she robbed a Gucci store in New York.

Keirina Boykin, 24, of Washington, D.C., has been identified by police as one of several people believed to be part of a high-end robbery team that hit the Gucci store in the Meatpacking District of New York on Feb. 19.

The 24-year-old woman has been in police custody since Feb. 22 after Prince George's police say she kicked and punched a pregnant woman in Hyattsville Jan. 28 in the 6400 block of America Boulevard around 7:40 p.m., Patch reported previously. She's been charged with first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

New York authorities believe the robbery team stole $58,000 worth of bags and sunglasses from the Gucci store. A video was released of the incident showing the group, wearing all black and masks, carrying out items while some were holding guns, reported WJLA.

According to NBC New York, she's also wanted for her role in an armed robbery of a liquor store in which a clerk was hit over the head with a bottle.
