Suspect Charged In Armed Robbery Of Armored Truck

Jerronta Bryant, 31, of Capitol Heights, has been arrested and charged with armed robbery and related offenses.

CLINTON, MD — Police have charged the suspect wanted in the armed robbery of an armored truck outside of a Clinton bank in late 2025.

Detectives are working to arrest additional suspects in the case. A cash reward has been offered for information leading to arrests in the case.

On Nov. 3, 2025, around 8:25 a.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 8800 block of Woodyard Road in Clinton for a report of an armed robbery of an armored truck. The driver suffered minor injuries during the robbery.

The preliminary investigation indicates that multiple suspects approached the victim as he prepared to deliver cash to the bank. After stealing more than $500,000 in cash, the suspects fled the scene.

On Wednesday, the PGPD’s Fugitive Unit, which is part of the U.S. Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, found and arrested Bryant in Washington, D.C., where he remains in custody pending extradition to Prince George’s County. During his arrest, a firearm was recovered.
