Suspect Charged With Murder In Gas Station Shooting

Police say an ongoing dispute preceded the shooting that left a Forestville man dead.

A suspect has been charged with murder in the Oct. 5 shooting death of a Forestville man at a local gas station, Prince George’s County Police said Wednesday.

Christopher Charles Ealey, 22, of Hil Mar Drive was shot inside a service station in the 3200 block of Walters Lane in Forestville. Ealey was taken to a local hospital, where he died a short time later, police said. Ealey was not a gas station employee.

Suspect Tony Angelo Singletary, 22, of no fixed address was arrested Tuesday on a charge of first-degree murder, police said. Detectives believe the shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute between Singletary and Ealey.
