Have You Seen Him? Suspect On The Run, Faces Murder Charges In Shooting: Police

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — The Prince George’s County Police Department asks for the community’s help in locating the suspect charged with murdering a man earlier this month.

The suspect, 32-year-old Randy McFail of Capitol Heights, has been charged with fatally shooting 22-year-old Robert Earl Price of Washington, D.C., according to Prince George's Police.

On Aug. 7, at approximately 6:30 p.m., patrol officers were called to the 4100 block of Southern Avenue in the unincorporated section of Capitol Heights for a reported shooting. Officers found Price in a parking lot with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene, a police report noted.

The preliminary investigation revealed the suspect shot the victim during a dispute. According to Prince George's Police, they knew each other.

McFail has been charged with first degree murder and related charges. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call detectives at 301-516-2512.
