Suspect Sought In 19-Year-Old's Fatal Shooting In Langley Park: PGPD

A $25K reward has been offered for information in the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old in Langley Park, according to Prince George's Police.

LANGLEY PARK, MD — Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that happened in the Langley Park area. A reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On June 5 at approximately 11:30 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 1400 block of University Boulevard. They found 19-year-old Jesus Mestizo-Soto dead inside an apartment building. A second man was found at the scene with gunshot wounds, according to the Prince George's Police Department.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has conducted an autopsy and ruled the cause of death to be a gunshot wound and the manner a homicide, the PGPD reported.
