Suspect Sought In Fatal Shooting Of Capitol Heights Man
Prince George's Police is searching for the suspect they say fatally shot 45-year-old David Downs of Capitol Heights Monday morning.
CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD — Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Monday morning in Capitol Heights.
On Feb. 23 around 11:20 a.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 5200 block of Marlboro Pike for a report of a shooting. They found 45-year-old David Downs of Capitol Heights with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s).
