Suspect Wanted In Shooting At Illegal Car Meet Arrested: Police
A Prince George's man has been charged with attempted second-degree murder, as well as other charges, in a shooting at an illegal car meet.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A suspect wanted in connection to a robbery and shooting at an illegal car meet has been arrested.
Deputies with the Prince George's County Sheriff's Office arrested the suspect, Benjamin Ariese Hancock-Lyles, on Feb. 9, the office reported Feb. 19.
During the illegal car meet, shots were fired and ammo recovered at the time of Hancock-Lyles' arrest matched the weapon used, the sheriff's office stated.

Hancock-Lyles has been charged with attempted second-degree murder, the sheriff's office stated., as well as armed robbery, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, use of a firearm in the commission of a violent felony, wearing/carrying a loaded handgun on person, handgun in vehicle and theft under $1,500.
