Suspected Gunman at America's Best Wings Sought, Images Released

Prince George's County Police hope the public can tell them where to find homicide suspect Rasheed Edwards.

CAMP SPRINGS, MD — Detectives on Monday released images of the man suspected in a fatal shooting at an America’s Best Wings restaurant.

Prince George’s County Police are searching for suspect Rasheed Edwards, 21, who also goes by the name Thaddeus Cornell Edwards. His last known address is in the 12000 block of Hillantrae Drive in Clinton.

Edwards and the May 4 shooting victim -- Darryl Hairston, 20, of Fort Washington – were both customers in the restaurant.

Police were called to the fatal shooting in the 7100 block of Temple Hills Road just before 10 p.m. that night. Hairston died several hours later at a hospital. No employees inside the restaurant were hurt.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
