Suzie, Buttercup: Adorable Adoptable of the Week in Prince George's County
Meet these adorable adoptables from Prince George's County. They are ready for their forever homes - could it be with you?

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD โ Numerous adorable adoptables await their forever homes through The SPCA/Humane Society of Prince George's County, Inc.
The sweetest senior adoptable, Suzie, can't wait to head to find her forever family. She's absolutely adorable with an engaging personality. In fact, she charmed everyone - humans and animals a like - in her foster home not long after arriving there.
Suzie adores romping around the yard and going for walks, but she also enjoys lounging in her favorite plushy pet bed or chilling safely by her human's feet. She's curious but obedient and eager to please. She doesn't mind being crated but would much rather be near her family.

At age 13, Suzie weighs 20 pounds and does well with kids age 8 and older as well as other dogs. She is house-trained and crate-trained.
Buttercup, a young German Shepherd, is described by her foster family as "wonderful" and well behaved. She's gentle with young children and gets along well with most other dogs. She is crate trained, but sleeps well on a dog bed in her foster parent's bedroom.

She is intrigued by squirrels and birds, so she'll require additional training when walking on a leash. She does great on runs and would make a great running or walking friend for an active family.
Buttercup has what the vet believes to be an old injury to one of her paws that caused her to lose the tips of some of her toes, but it is healed now and doesn't cause any problems.

Anyone interested in adopting Suzie or Buttercup or any other pet with The SPCA/Humane Society of Prince George's County, Inc. should fill out a no-obligation adoption application. Because The SPCA/Humane Society of Prince George's County, Inc. is a volunteer-run group, all animals are cared for in foster homes and animals must be placed within the greater Baltimore-DC area.
