Swastika Drawn In Pink Lipstick On Vehicle In Bowie: Police
Police are trying to figure out who drew the hate symbol and why over the weekend.

BOWIE, MD -- Someone drew a swastika in pink lipstick on a vehicle parked on a city street in Bowie this weekend, and police are searching for a suspect.
Bowie Police said in a statement that the owner of the vehicle reported the incident to police on Saturday, Oct. 28.
"The incident remains under investigation," the statement reads. "The intent of the person writing on the vehicle is not known at this time, but whether it was done as a prank or as a deliberate act of hate, the result is the same. A swastika always symbolizes hate. To deface anyone’s property with this symbol is not only a crime; it is also hurtful to the owner and offensive to our community."
