SWAT Team Called in to College Park Hotel

SWAT teams surrounded the Holiday Inn on Baltimore Avenue next to Ikea just after midnight on Friday and evacuated guests from the building.

Prince George’s County police say there was a barricade situation, according to WBAL. Someone the police was looking for was reportedly holed up in the hotel.

Officers took the person into custody, but no word has been released on who the suspect was and why police were searching for him or her.
