Teen Shot To Death In Landover, Suspect Arrested: Police
Police arrested a D.C. man accused of shooting the teen.

LANDOVER, MD -- A man has been arrested after a teen was shot to death in Landover over the weekend.
Police were called to the 2400 block of Kent Village Drive at around 12:10 a.m. Saturday to a report of a shooting, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department.
"Once on scene, they learned the victim, 17 year old Amer Miller of Hawthorne Street, suffering from gunshot wounds had been driven to a hospital by a passerby where he later died," the report states.

Police arrested 26-year-old Davion Ballinger of Northwest D.C. on charges of first and second degree murder, as well as other related charges. Police believe the shooting happened after Ballinger robbed Miller.
He is being held without bond.
