Teen Threatened to 'Shoot Up' Greenbelt High School After Breakup: Police
A D.C. teenager had an AK-47 and 180 rounds of ammunition, police say, in a plan to kill a Greenbelt girl, her family and schoolmates.

Greenbelt, MD — Authorities seized an AK-47 and 180 rounds of ammunition from a boy who reportedly threatened to “shoot up” Eleanor Roosevelt High School and kill his former girlfriend.
Washington, D.C., police say the boy, a 17-year-old from the district, had targeted the Greenbelt school which the 17-year-old girl attended. She had received threats by text after she broke up with the boy, police said.
The suspect planned to go to the girl’s Greenbelt house and kill her family, according to court documents obtained by NBC Washington, and he said he was going to bring his friends to watch.
