Three City Rooted In Resilience Tour Coming To DMV March 25-27

The Three City Rooted in Resilience Tour is coming to the DMV March 25-27 with an in-person event, a virtual event and church service.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD β€” Three City Rooted in Resilience Tour will be coming to the DMV March 25-27 to celebrate a collaboration in medical research, education, community empowerment and spiritual enlightenment among the Black community. The tour is a collaboration of the Black Greek Letter Consortium, All of Us Research Program, Bowie State University, University of the District of Columbia, The Cobb Institute and Black Women’s Health Imperative.

Below is the itinerary:

  • Day One: Bowie State University and University of the District of Columbia are the historically Black college and university education partners for Friday. The event also will include Tshaka Cunningham, the Resilient JEM (Jade E. Mathis) and Yard Talk 101. A livestream will be available on NPHCHQ Facebook and YouTube.   • Day Three: There will be a faith-based service Sunday to close out the weekend celebrations. A live stream of the Rooted in Resilience DMV Inspirational Service at noon will be available on NPHCHQ Facebook and YouTube. This event is virtual only.

The tour is hosted by the Black Greek Letter Consortium, which is made up of the nine National Pan-Hellenic Council organizations, also known as the Divine Nine. These historically Black fraternities and sororities support the mission of the All of Us Research Program to advance health equity for those considered underrepresented in biomedical research.
