Train Strikes, Kills Pedestrian in College Park
A CSX train reportedly struck the pedestrian just before 7 a.m., and authorities are investigating.
COLLEGE PARK, MD — A pedestrian has been struck and killed by a train in the College Park area.
Prince George's County Fire and EMS spokesman Mark Brady tweeted at 7:49 a.m. Wednesday that the incident happened near Calvert Road Station in College Park, and CSX/MARC tracks had been closed for the investigation.
Trains in the area are delayed as a result of the investigation. The incident happened just before 7 a.m.
