Triple Homicide At Bowie Restaurant; Suspect Shoots Himself As Police Close In
The suspect is being treated at a local hospital after he fled into the woods and shot himself twice as police sought to arrest him.

UPDATE 11:46 a.m.: The victims of the shooting have been identified by police: 46-year-old Sherwood Morgan of Lake Arbor Way in Mitchellville, 27-year-old Jin Chen of Dove Circle in Laurel and 28-year-old Xue Zou of Doves Fly Way in Laurel.
BOWIE, MD — Three people are dead after a man opened fire in a restaurant in Bowie Sunday morning, and the shooter has been hospitalized with two self-inflicted gunshot wounds.
Police were called to the Blue Sunday Bar & Grill in the 6800 block of Race Track Road at around 2:15 a.m. Jan. 29 to a report of a shooting and found three victims suffering from gunshot wounds, with two of them declared dead at the scene and a third victim dying later from his injuries, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department.

Police identified 40-year-old Karlief Moye as the suspect, and as they were canvassing the area around his home in Silver Spring, "they observed him running into a wooded area of the Northwest Branch Park," the report states. Police say he shot himself twice in the woods, and he is now being treated at a local hospital.
All of the victims and the suspect were employees at the restaurant. Police think the shooting originated over a dispute between the employees.

Prince George's County Police Chief Hank Stawinski will address the media further about the incident Monday at noon at the Rivertowne Shopping Plaza in Oxon Hill.
