Two Charged In Drug Deal Shooting of Bowie Man: Police
Prince George's County Police say men from Bowie and Oxon Hill face murder charges from a robbery that ended in a shooting.

Two men face murder charges for the shooting of a Bowie man a week ago in what police describe as a drug deal turned robbery.
Prince George’s County Police said Thursday that they’ve charged two suspects in the Nov. 5 death of Edson Keister, 39, of Nashua Lane in Bowie.
Diare Caldwell, 22, of the 1400 block of Southern Avenue in Oxon Hill and Darin Moore Jr., 22, of the 6200 block of Gabriel Street in Bowie are both charged with first- and second-degree murder and related charges.

Police were called to the 1400 block of Southern Avenue in Oxon Hill a week ago, where they found Keister suffering from gunshot wounds. He died a short time later at a hospital.
Investigators say the fatal shooting stemmed from a robbery attempt during a drug deal.

The suspects were arrested at Caldwell’s apartment earlier this week. They are being held at the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.
A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case.
