Upper Marlboro Man Charged With Rape Of DC Teenager: Police
A 30-year-old Upper Marlboro man has been charged with the rape of D.C. teenager, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
UPPER MARLBORO, MD — A 30-year-old Upper Marlboro man has been arrested in connection to the sexual assault of a teenage girl.
The Metropolitan Police Department's Youth and Family Services Division arrested Shaquille Jones and charged him with first-degree child sex abuse (rape). The girl told police that Jones engaged in sexual acts with her between March 1, 2017, and June 30, 2017, in the 5200 block of 16th Street, according to the MPD.
At the time of the incident, Jones was more than 10 years older than the victim, police said.
