Two UPS, FedEx Trucks Stolen Within An Hour In Prince George's Neighborhoods: Report
Two UPS and FedEx trucks were reported stolen within an hour's time from two separate Prince George's neighborhoods, according to reports.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A UPS driver delivering packages Sunday was ambushed by armed suspects in broad daylight who then took off with her truck.
The armed carjacking of the UPS truck happened in the 9000 block of Elk Avenue in the newly developed Westridge Westphalia neighborhood of Upper Marlboro. The incident, which happened around 2 p.m., was caught on a doorbell camera.
"It’s very brazen, in the middle of the day. Most of the homes have cameras, so to do that right in front of everybody’s house who has front view cameras, it’s a little unnerving," a neighbor told FOX5. "You hope things get a little better. Maybe it’s the climate, but it’s unfortunate you have to be vigilant and watch your back."
