Washington, D.C., Man Killed In 2-Vehicle Crash In Suitland: Prince George's Police

A 25-year-old Washington, D.C., man was killed in a 2-vehicle crash that happened in Suitland Sunday afternoon, police say.

SUITLAND, MD — A 25-year-old Washington, D.C., man was killed in a two-vehicle crash that happened Sunday in Suitland, police say. Original police reports stated that one of the people in the car had gunshot wounds but police later confirmed that the person did not.

On May 5 around 3:55 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 3600 block of Silver Hill Road for a report of a crash between a car and a pickup truck. Tyrone Allen Jr. was a passenger in one of the vehicles. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. The other people involved had injuries that weren't considered life-threatening, police said.

A preliminary investigation indicates that both vehicles collided in the eastbound lane of Silver Hill Road. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call detectives at 301-731-4422.
