UPDATE: Prince George's County Delays, Snow, Road Conditions
School system, other agencies amended Thursday schedule.

Prince George’s County Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, Feb. 26, officials announced before 6:30 a.m. Thursday.
Previously, the school system planned to operate on a two-hour delay on Thursday, Feb. 26, and officials said they would reevaluate conditions at 6:30 a.m. Now all offices and schools in Prince George’s County Public Schools will be closed.
A winter weather advisory is in effect until noon Thursday for snow. By 8 a.m., Bowie had received 2.5 inches of snow, according to unofficial reports from the National Weather Service.

There is a snow emergency plan in effect as of 7 a.m. Thursday in Prince George’s County. That means people cannot park on roads designated as snow emergency routes.
Prince George’s County road conditions vary countywide, according to the Office of Emergency Management. Check for incidents on state roads.

Other Schedule Changes
- Prince George’s libraries will open at noon.
- Metrobus is experiencing delays of up to one hour.
- Prince George’s County government is open with liberal leave in effect for nonessential employees.
- Prince George’s Community College will open at 11 a.m.
- Liberal leave is in effect for state of Maryland employees.
- Federal agencies are on a two-hour delay with the option for unscheduled leave or unscheduled telework.
