What's Open, Closed In Prince George's On Good Friday, Easter, Passover
Patch has the scoop on what's open and closed across Prince George's County for Good Friday, Easter and Passover.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD β County offices will be open on Good Friday and trash will be collected as usual. Community centers, art centers, senior activity centers and sports facilities will be closed on Easter Sunday. Regional parks will be open.
The Prince George's County Animal Services Facility and Adoption Center remains open by appointment only and is normally closed Sundays.
The Prince George's County Memorial Library System will be closed Sunday, April 17, for Easter.

Prince George's County Public Schools are on spring break through Monday, April 18, and will return Tuesday, April 19.
The postal system will not operate Sunday.

Prince George's County TheBus operates Monday through Saturday 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. See THE bus schedules page for the latest timetable for routes in service. The Metrorail and Metrobus will run on their normal schedules Friday and Sunday. Their holiday changes are posted here. The MARC train will operate on Friday. All MARC schedules are listed on its website.
The 9-1-1 Center, police and fire departments remain staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For emergencies, call 9-1-1.
