When is Prince George’s County’s Back-to-School Fair?

Summer vacation has a way of going by in a blur, and before you know it, it’s time to hit the books again.
Prince George’s County Public Schools’ annual Back-to-School Fair is a community-wide event to give parents resources they’ll need for the coming school year. Representatives from schools across the county will be present.
The event takes place 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 9, at the Show Place Arena, 14900 Pennsylvania Ave., Upper Marlboro.
The fair includes on-site student registration, student performances and a backpack giveaway. Parents can also purchase school supplies and uniforms at the fair.
School starts Aug. 26. There will be an orientation for students entering middle or high school on Aug. 25.
