Where to Go With No City of Bowie 4th of July Fireworks
While the city of Bowie doesn't have a fireworks display planned, there are Independence Day celebrations in the area you can catch.

Bowie, MD — For the second straight year, no city-sponsored Fourth of July fireworks display is planned in Bowie.
Residents can attend the Bowie Baysox game on July 4, which includes a newly announced Red, White and Boom All-American Independence Day Celebration at Prince George's Stadium, or visit Six Flags American in Upper Marlboro.
Last year, city officials said a deal with the Bowie Baysox organization to allow July 4 fireworks sponsored by the city fell apart, ending a tradition of more than 40 years.
