Is That a Wolf? Huge Canine Rounded Up in Capitol Heights (Photos)
Animal Control has taken into custody a large dog that resembles a wolf in Prince George's County on Thursday morning.
CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD — A huge four-legged animal resembling a wolf was spotted in the Capitol Heights area Thursday morning, prompting Animal Control to round up the canine.
Prince George's County Police tweeted at 10:27 a.m. that they had received calls about an animal spotted on Valley Park Court, and Animal Control was on the scene. The animal was reportedly in custody as of 10:30 a.m.
The large canine has a mostly white body with a reddish back. There's no confirmation on the breed, but users on social media speculated that it was like a domesticated wolf/dog hybrid based on its appearance and how well-groomed it was.
