Woman Fatally Stabbed At Laundromat Near Joint Base Andrews: Prince George's Police

MORNINGSIDE, MD — A woman was killed and a man wounded during a stabbing that happened Tuesday afternoon in the Tropix Laundromat near Joint Base Andrews.

Prince George's police officers were called to the laundromat located in the 4900 block of Allentown Road around 12:30 p.m. They found a woman with stab wounds who was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police.

A man also was stabbing during the incident and was taken to a hospital for treatment. No other details have been released yet by the police department. Investigators were looking at surveillance footage.

4Washington reported that the woman was an employee of the laundromat and when officers arrived, both the man and woman were found in an office in the back of the business.
