Woman Killed In 2-Vehicle Crash

A 34-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene of an early Saturday morning car crash, according to police.

LAUREL, MD — A woman has died after police say she was involved in a two-vehicle crash Saturday around 3:36 a.m. in Laurel.

The collision happened at the intersection of 11th Street and eastbound Route 198. When emergency responders arrived, they found one driver, a 34‑year‑old woman, dead in her vehicle from injuries sustained in the crash, according to police.

The second driver was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The Laurel Police Department Crash Investigation Team continues to investigate the collision.
