Woman Trapped In Burning Home Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries: Official
A woman suffered life-threatening injuries after she was trapped in a burning home, according to the Prince George's County Fire Department.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Firefighters with the Prince George's County Fire Department warn residents to check their smoke alarms monthly and practice a home fire escape plan after a weekend house fire trapped a resident.
The fire broke out Jan. 7 shortly before 2 p.m. at a home in the 9700 block of Wichita Avenue in College Park. A woman was trapped but quickly rescued. She sustained life-threatening injuries, according to the fire department. Two residents have been displaced.
Fire personnel from Montgomery County also responded to the scene.
